The symmetric-device results appear to contain a substantial numerical inconsistency that requires clarification. The paper reports 287.09 F g⁻¹ at 0.2 A g⁻¹ using , but the corresponding 0.2 A g⁻¹ discharge trace in Figure 8d spans only approximately 85–95 s across about 1 V, which gives roughly 18 F g⁻¹ under the published current-density and voltage labels. The reported value would instead require approximately 1435 s, and even a factor-of-four symmetric-cell conversion does not reconcile the difference. Because the reported 9.96 Wh kg⁻¹ energy density and the Ragone plot are derived from this capacitance, could the authors provide the raw GCD files, applied currents, individual and total electrode masses, calculation sheets, and the precise mass-normalization convention?
In addition, Figures 8b–d and the cycling description report voltage “vs. Ag/AgCl” for a device described and illustrated as a two-electrode symmetric cell without a reference electrode. Please clarify the actual cell connections and whether these axes should represent total cell voltage. The underlying cycling data are also needed because the text reports 100% retention at cycle 1500, whereas Figure 9b appears to show an appreciable decline by that point.
