The article explores the enhancement of ionic conductivity and thermal stability in PVC-LiBr-nano-SiO2 nanostructured composite polymer electrolytes (NCPEs) but suffers from significant flaws that compromise its scientific integrity. Key issues include incomplete experimental details, such as the lack of evidence for uniform SiO2 dispersion, which is critical for reproducibility, and ambiguous thermal stability claims, as decomposition at 194°C conflicts with the reported stability up to 334°C. The graphical data (e.g., TG/DTA and conductivity figures) lack error margins and detailed discussions, while inconsistencies in the electrochemical stability range raise questions about practical applicability. Furthermore, the ionic conductivity improvement (10^-5 S/cm) is not significantly superior to existing literature, undermining claims of innovation.
