Given the centrality of these post-translational modifications to the proposed regulatory model, could the authors clarify:
(1) Whether these phosphorylation events consistently result in inhibition or activation of clock function across different cellular contexts?
(2) To what extent are these findings derived from in vivo rhythmic models versus acute in vitro manipulations, and how generalizable are they to the chronobiology of tumor tissues?
