We appreciate your valuable contribution to understanding NRTI-induced neuropathy. However, we noted several critical concerns in your study. Specifically, the reliance on speculative mechanisms without robust experimental validation undermines the causality attributed to mitochondrial dysfunction. Additionally, self-referential citations and inadequate exploration of alternative hypotheses limit the objectivity and breadth of the review. Discrepancies in neuropathy incidence rates and insufficient systematic methodology further hinder the reproducibility and reliability of the findings. We kindly request these issues be addressed to enhance the clarity and scientific rigor of your work.
