The authors have published a paper on fruit drying in the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, specifically in the special issue titled “Special Issue on The 4th European Conference on Renewable Energy Systems (ECRES 2016), 28-31 August 2016, Istanbul, Turkey.” However, this paper does not pertain to hydrogen research and fails to align with the objectives of the special issue, which focuses on renewable energy.

It is important to emphasize that the content of the paper has absolutely no connection to hydrogen in any capacity. The term “hydrogen” is not mentioned even once throughout the entire paper. Could the authors and journal’s editors please clarify how this work fits within the scope of the journal and the special issue? Additionally, could they address the lack of relevance to hydrogen and its implications for the goals of the special issue?

Dear Authors,

I am following up on my email sent a week ago regarding the paper on fruit drying published in the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, specifically within the special issue titled “Special Issue on The 4th European Conference on Renewable Energy Systems (ECRES 2016), 28-31 August 2016, Istanbul, Turkey.”

As mentioned in my previous message, the paper appears to have no connection to hydrogen research and does not align with the objectives of the special issue, which focus on renewable energy. I had requested clarification from the authors and the journal’s editors regarding how this work fits within the journal’s scope and the goals of the special issue, as well as an explanation for the apparent lack of relevance to hydrogen.

To date, I have not received a response. If I do not hear back within a reasonable timeframe, I may need to escalate the matter to the Editors and Publishers for further review of the handling of this article and the review process.

I kindly request your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your response.

Dear Editors and Publisher of International Journal of Hydrogen Energy,

I am writing to inform you of an ongoing issue regarding the paper on fruit drying published in the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, specifically in the special issue titled “Special Issue on The 4th European Conference on Renewable Energy Systems (ECRES 2016), 28-31 August 2016, Istanbul, Turkey.”

Despite my repeated inquiries to the authors, I have not received any response or clarification on how this paper aligns with the journal’s scope or the goals of the special issue, particularly in relation to hydrogen research. Given the lack of relevance to the issue’s focus on renewable energy and the absence of any mention of hydrogen, I felt it necessary to escalate this matter to the editorial team and publishers for further review.

Thank you for your attention to this issue.
