The study’s data limitations, restricting the analysis to 2010–2020, raise concerns about the relevance of its findings given significant developments in renewable energy beyond this period. Additionally, the reliance on pooled quantile and fixed effects methods lacks sufficient justification, leaving questions about the robustness of the results. Some cited references appear tangential to the analysis and are not well-integrated into the discussion. I would appreciate it if the authors could address these issues to ensure the study’s findings are both rigorous and impactful.
