The study segments respondents into four groups based on WTP for status quo and improved services. Could the authors provide more details on how these segments were validated? Specifically, were there any statistical tests (e.g., cluster analysis) used to ensure the robustness of these segments, or were they solely based on mean WTP values?

I would also like to know the point about health status. The study mentions that health status did not significantly affect WTP, but older adults with poorer health often have distinct mobility needs and constraints. Could the authors elaborate on why health status was not a significant factor in this analysis? Is this potentially due to the overall good self-reported health of the respondents, or were there other underlying reasons for this finding?
