There seem to be some critical aspects that require authors clarification: The major aspects of concern are experimental reproducibility and methodology transparency. The synthesis procedure seems to lack some details, particularly in the mixing and heating processes, which are critical for reproducibility. For instance, the concentration details and procedural timing might need clarification, which could otherwise affect the accuracy of reproducibility. Moreover, the study does not seem to include control samples or compare results to baseline materials such as pure Ni or Mn selenides under similar conditions, which could weaken its comparative analysis. Finally, the sample preparation was only briefly described but replicates and variation across samples were not reported, making it difficult to assess reliability. The authors clarification of the above would be appreciated.
